Northwest Pharmacy offers drive up Covid-19 testing.
- By appointment only – Monday through Friday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, excluding holidays.
- Results in 15 – 20 minutes
Am I Eligible to Take the COVID-19 Test?
Are you currently sick with COVID-19-like symptoms?
YES – Testing is recommended. Please call your primary care provider to discuss your symptoms before taking a COVID-19 test. If you do not have a primary care provider feel free to call our pharmacy for guidance.
NO, I do not currently have COVID-19 symptoms. Have you been in direct contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive?
YES, I have been in direct contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive. – Testing is recommended. Self-quarantine for 14 days and monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. Wait at least 5 to 8 days after your last exposure to test. Most people start feeling sick 5 to 8 days after exposure but symptoms may appear in as few as 2 or as long as 14 days after exposure.
NO or I AM UNSURE if I’ve been in direct contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive – Unless you feel ill or are specifically directed by your doctor testing is probably not needed. Please continue to wear a mask and to social distance where possible.

Please call your primary care provider to discuss your symptoms before taking a COVID-19 test. If you do not have a primary care provider, feel free to call our pharmacy for guidance.
Northwest Pharmacy will not test people who do not have an appointment. Our COVID-19 testing times are Monday through Friday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. To schedule your appointment, please call us at 1-208-875-1212.
You will be asked to bring a valid photo ID, your insurance information and a signed copy of the Covid-19 Testing Consent Form at the time of your appointment. This one-page consent form can be found by clicking the link below. If you do not have access to a printer, please let our staff know when you call to make your appointment so we can provide you with a copy of the consent form when you arrive for your test.

What to Expect for Your COVID-19 Self-Swab Test
When you arrive for your appointment, please park in one of the designated testing parking spots, and STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE! Present a valid photo ID, your insurance information, and a signed copy of the Covid-19 Testing Consent Form to the onsite testing staff member.
You will be given a test kit and supervised guidance to self-administer an anterior nasal swab. After collecting the sample, you will place it in a collection bin, return it to the waiting staff member, then remain in your vehicle and wait for your results, which only take about 15-20 minutes.
We will be happy to answer any questions you have at the time of scheduling and at the time of testing.
Emergency Warning Signs* for COVID-19
If someone is showing any of these signs, seek emergency medical care immediately:
- Trouble breathing
- Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
- New confusion
- Inability to wake or stay awake
- Blueish lips or face
*This is not all possible symptoms. Please call your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning you.
Call 911 or call ahead to your local emergency facility: Notify the operator that you are seeking care for someone who has or may have COVID-19.
